Bears vs Bengals Injury Report: Eddie Goldman doubtful, 6 questionable, Larry Borom out

Here’s the full and final injury report for both the Chicago Bears and the Cincinnati Bengals in advance of their game this Sunday.

On Thursday morning Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy said that both Jason Peters and Eddie Goldman were ”in a good place” and the “arrow is up” on them in regards to playing on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, but Goldman’s arrow was clearly down as he missed practice on Thursday and Friday.

Here’s how the Bears list their final injury report this week.

• Larry Borom, OL (Ankle): Out
• Eddie Goldman, NT (Knee): Doubtful
• Joel Iyiegbuniwe, ILB (Shoulder): Questionable
• Robert Quinn, OLB (Back): Questionable
• Marquise Goodwin, WR (Quad): Questionable
• Darnell Mooney, WR (Back): Questionable
• Nsimba Webster, WR (Hamstring): Questionable
• Jason Peters, LT (Quad): Questionable

There was a report earlier today that indicated Borom’s high ankle sprain could land him injured reserve, but for now he’s just listed as out.

I would imagine that the Bears hold Goldman out again this week, and if so, be on the lookout for them to downgrade his injury status tomorrow.

Peters was the only questionable Bear that didn’t practice in full on Friday, but he was limited all week. Also, I would expect that all the questionable Bears, including Peters, to be well enough to play on Sunday, but if Peters does have a setback then it’ll be Elijah Wilkinson stepping in at left tackle.

Here’s the injury list for the Bengals.

• Trae Waynes, CB (Hamstring): Out
• Markus Bailey, LB (Knee): Questionable
• Darius Phillips, CB (Thigh): Questionable

The Bengals also placed Ricardo Allen on injured reserve this week.

Waynes starts at one of their corner spots, and Allen played as the third safety in some sub-packages.
