Bengals fans sound off on the team’s first-round selection.

The 2024 NFL Draft is complete.

For the Cincinnati Bengals, they addressed one of their bigger needs on the roster with the 18th pick, taking Georgia Bulldogs offensive tackle Amarius Mims.

A 6-foot-8 and 340-pounder out of Georgia, Mims was the guy the coaching staff and front office have hopefully found to be the right tackle of the future. Trent Brown should be the starter in 2024, but beyond that, the team is banking on Mims locking the spot down.

It’s obvious that Mims has NFL size, but the question still remains in durability and overall reps as he only appeared in seven games this past season for the Bulldogs. With Jonah Williams gone to Arizona however, now it appears Mims can go and fight for a starting spot at RT immediately.

We asked the Bengals fans last night to grade this selection, and the answer was rather clear. Leading the way in the poll was a solid B. Coming in second place was an A grade.

Only time will tell how this one will play out, but I think we are all hopeful we have found another tackle to help pair with Orlando Brown for the foreseeable future.
