Bengals have an ‘easy’ 2024 schedule based on Vegas projected win totals

The folks in Vegas usually have their ducks in a row.

The Cincinnati Bengals don’t have an easy schedule in 2024.

Not only do they play in the AFC North, the toughest division in the NFL, but they also face the Cowboys, Chiefs, Chargers, and Eagles.

However, according to Warren Sharp, when you use Las Vegas’ forecasted win totals for each team, the Bengals have the sixth-easiest schedule in the NFL.

Sharp ranked each team’s strength of schedule based on current Vegas betting odds and implied win totals for every NFL team, and when doing so, only the Falcons, Chargers, Bears, Jets, and Saints have easier projected roads to the postseason.

According to Sharp, this method of figuring out the strength of a schedule is accurate.

“Of the 15 teams predicted to have the easiest schedules, 11 finished with winning records,” he wrote. “Of the 15 teams predicted to have the hardest 2023 schedules, only 5 finished with a winning record.”
