The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Buffalo Bills 24-18 in prime time on Sunday night in Week 9, extending a streak they have been working on for a couple of years.

With that win, they have now won six straight home games in prime time, which is their longest win streak since the 1970 NFL and AFL merger. They won five straight from 1997 to 2007.

At the center of this new streak has been Joe Burrow, who has helped make it so the Bengals are featured in more primetime games, and has been good at winning in them as well.

He has helped the Bengals to a four-game win streak this year after starting slow while dealing with a calf injury but has been performing at an MVP level since he has seemingly been back to full health.

After the most recent primetime win Burrow now has 1,861 yards and 12 touchdowns in eight games, but 1,133 yards and 10 of those touchdowns have come during the last four games they have won.
