The Cincinnati Bengals are one of many teams who are meeting with Cincinnati Bearcats defensive tackle Jowon Briggs ahead of the 2024 NFL draft, according to Tony Pauline of Sporstkeeda.

Currently, Briggs is not projected to be drafted, but when it comes to the later rounds in the draft teams are taking guys they believe in and not paying as much attention to rankings, especially with the 10 picks the Bengals have that weekend.

Briggs spent three years at Cincinnati after transferring from Virginia. In his five years, he finished with 169 tackles (21.5 for a loss) and 12 sacks in 52 career games.

While he may not provide an extremely high ceiling, the Bengals do need depth on the defensive line, so it’s likely they will add a tackle later this month.
