Bengals Mic Cart is headed to the Super Bowl, too

Not too long ago, the Cincinnati Bengals went viral because the team used a simple-looking mic cart for media sessions. Reporters dropped their recorders or phones on the cart, players talked and then said sessions ended.

Fast forward to now, there’s a chance that mic cart holds a Lombardi Trophy soon.

That mic cart initially went viral for a number of reasons. One, it was pretty dirty. Two, it was a basic cart. Even teams like the Dallas Cowboys use similar things, but it got a ton of attention and combined with the national perspective of the Bengals to cause a ruckus.

But, thanks to a dramatically upgraded presence on social media, the Bengals turned it into a funny, near-weekly thing to have the mic cart involved in posts.

Embracing the meme has led to this, with the mic cart joining the team for the trip to Super Bowl LVI:

The Bengals — and the cart — head to Los Angeles next Tuesday, where they’ll have a normal week of practice in solid weather conditions compared to the ice storms back in the tri-state area.
