Hubbard is signed on for four more years.
The Cincinnati Bengals have extended the contract of defensive end Sam Hubbard.
Per Adam Schefter, the extension is for $40 million over four years.

Hubbard, a fourth-year player in 2021, was a third-round draft pick of the Bengals in 2018. A Cincinnati native, he played for Moeller High School before moving up I-71 and playing four years at Ohio State.
In his first three seasons with the Bengals, Hubbard has recorded 106 solo tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 16.5 sacks, eight passes defensed, and three forced fumbles in 44 total games played.
Hubbard has blossomed into a competitive force for the Bengals’ ever-changing defense. As one of the veterans remaining from the Marvin Lewis era, he’s become a young leader in the locker room, and the Cincinnati community.
This deal will now keep the 26-year-old Hubbard playing for his hometown through the 2025 season.
