The Cincinnati Bengals‘ home of Paycor Stadium is undergoing renovations this offseason and recently, as part of that, about 12,500 seats were removed, according to Bret Buganski of WCPO.

The club seats in the stadium have been removed, and the county said they will be replaced with seats that are more comfortable to add on to the renovations they have already done, like upgrading the concession stands and adding LED ribbon boards around the stadium.

It’s part of the multi-year, $39 million renovation plan which is aiming to improve the stadium that is now over 20 years old. They are aiming to have the seating done by the next big event that takes place in the stadium, which would be before the NFL season begins.

The stadium entrance is also being renovated so access to get in and out is much easier and doesn’t get too congested, according to Hamilton County Commissioner Denise Driehaus.
