The Cincinnati Bengals are gearing up for the NFL Draft later this month in Las Vegas, but to help pass some of the time until then, some of their stars will be taking in America’s Pastime this weekend.

Head coach Zac Taylor, QB Joe Burrow and WR Ja’Marr Chase will all be at Great American Ballpark on April 12 for the Cincinnati Reds’ home opener against the Cleveland Guardians.

Burrow, naturally, will be throwing out the first pitch, Taylor will be catching the first pitch and Chase will present the National League Rookie of the Year award to Reds’ second-baseman Jonathan India, who had 21 home runs and 69 RBI in 150 games last season with a .269/.376/.459 batting line. He also led all rookies in on-base percentage, doubles, walks and runs scored and was second in on-base plus slugging.

Fitting that the Reds’ home opener comes against their in-state rivals and fitting that the stars of the reigning AFC champions will be on the field for that moment.
