One year ago, the Cincinnati Bengals earned brutal grades from NFLPA team report cards.
Fast forward to now, the Bengals have made some key improvements in this year’s poll of players, yet still fall dramatically short in other consistent problem areas.
Training room, for example, went up to a B+ from a D- last year. But problem areas from 2023, like treatment of families (F-), food/cafeteria (F-), and nutritionists/dieticians (F-) remain major problem areas.
As a whole, the Bengals climbed one spot to 26th overall this year.
The Athletic’s Paul Dehner Jr. provided a snapshot of both year’s grades and context to some of the negatives:
Treatment of families and nutrition continue to be the biggest issues.
They are one of 4 teams that don’t offer a family room or day care on gamedays. There is an outside tent for postgame gathering.
The fact the fact there aren’t 3 meals a day offered every day is an issue.

Cincinnati’s training room upgrades helped with these grades, while massive renovations to the locker room and otherwise are on the way as part of a big stadium overhaul.
