Bengals will have official 30 visit with Virginia S Joey Blount

The Cincinnati Bengals have had success with one former ACC safety, so maybe they’ll take their chances on another.

The Bengals are set to bring in Virginia safety Joey Blount for an official visit, per Draft Network’s Justin Melo.

Blount wrapped up his pro day with some impressive numbers: 4.38 40-yard dash, 38-inch vertical, 127-inch broad jump.

Blount met with the Steelers and will also visit the Chargers and work out for the Falcons, according to Melo.

Blount recorded 86 tackles with five tackles for a loss and three interceptions for the Cavaliers in 2021. Blount was not a guarantee to be drafted, but perhaps this pro day and his value as a core special-teamer could make him a seventh-round lottery ticket.
