Bengals WR Tyler Boyd doubles down on criticism of Steelers

After the Pittsburgh Steelers loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati wide receiver Tyler Boyd called out the Steelers saying they gave up at the end of the game. Strong words from a guy who played his college football in Pittsburgh.

But Boyd is not backing down from it. In fact, after his postgame comments got everyone talking, the Bengals star took to Twitter to double down on his comments. Boyd has been playing against the Steelers since 2016 so he has an excellent perspective on this team.

Boyd noted he has nothing but respect for the team but he said in all the times he’s played the Steelers, he had never seen a Steelers team finish like that.

On Tuesday, head coach Mike Tomlin said he didn’t care about Boyd’s opinion. But you can bet the players have seen this. At least I hope they have. And I hope it makes them mad. This team needs to play with an edge and right now they aren’t. If some criticism gives the Steelers that edge, maybe they can turn things around.
