Week 6 was quite the roller coaster with some ups and downs in the NFL betting world. Despite a 1-4 record, we managed to secure a victory with a player prop on Thursday Night Football, demonstrating the resilience required in navigating the unpredictable NFL landscape. But in Week 7, we’re determined to bounce back with a fresh set of picks and a confident outlook.

Ravens vs. Lions: Three Key Plays

The Ravens vs. Lions game takes the spotlight this week, and I’ve got three plays lined up for this exciting matchup.

First up is Gus Edwards, a versatile and impactful runner. Gus’s over/under rushing yards are set at 44.5, but I’m taking the under. The Lions have proven to be a formidable defense against the run, not allowing a single running back to surpass this mark all season. With the Lions likely forcing the Ravens to air it out, I expect Gus’s opportunities on the ground to be limited.

Next, we have Lamar Jackson‘s passing yards, which are set at 216.5. Despite Lamar’s improved efficiency as a passer, he’s only exceeded this number in half his six games this season. However, the Lions’ defense has allowed opponents to surpass this mark in four out of six games. With the Ravens looking to demonstrate their passing prowess, I’m taking the over on Lamar’s passing yards.

Lastly, I’m picking the Baltimore Ravens to win outright. The public is leaning towards the Lions, making this a tempting underdog bet, but I believe the Ravens are the stronger team. They boast a better defense, are playing at home, and present the Lions’ toughest challenge yet. The Lions’ run game might struggle, and Jared Goff faces a formidable secondary. The Ravens will show their offensive prowess in this game.

I added half a point to the spread for added security, making my pick Ravens -2.5.

My picks (Do not parlay): Ravens -2.5 (-130), Gus Edwards under 44.5 rush yards (-114) and Lamar Jackson over 216.5 passing yards (-114)

Falcons vs. Buccaneers: Same Game Parlay

In an NFC South matchup between the Falcons and Buccaneers, I’ve got a same-game parlay that I consider the play of the week. Divisional games often result in low-scoring affairs, and this one will be no exception. The over/under is set at 37.5 points, and despite public sentiment, I’m going with the under.

Both teams have been involved in low-scoring games this season, with combined points averaging below this line. Even sportsbooks like FanDuel have set individual team totals at values that support an under. Furthermore, I expect this divisional game to stay close, favoring the Falcons. They are the better team, but Desmond Ridder‘s turnovers have cost them. Coach Arthur Smith’s preference for a strong run game in this divisional road game will likely keep it low-scoring.

In this same-game parlay, I’ve combined the under (45.5) with the Atlanta Falcons (+6.5) for added insurance. The odds for this parlay are enticing, sitting at (-121).

My pick (Same Game Parlay): Buccaneers/Falcons under (45.5) and the Atlanta Falcons (+6.5)

So, with these plays and strategies in mind, we’re ready to tackle Week 7 in the NFL. The journey continues, and we’re looking forward to more thrilling games and profitable bets.
