It’s a “safe bet” that Von Miller will make his 2023 season debut against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, the Buffalo Bills outside linebacker told reporters Friday.

Miller, 34, began the year on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list after suffering an ACL tear late in the 2022 season. After the Bills opened the 21-day window for Miller to return, the pass rusher was listed as limited in practices Wednesday and Thursday.

After making the trip to London, Miller didn’t leave much doubt that he’ll play during a Friday press conference:

Miller is an eight-time Pro Bowler who ranks 19th all-time in sacks (since the stat started being officially recorded in 1982). He joined the Bills on a six-year, $120 million deal in March 2022 and had eight sacks in 11 games before his season ended due to the knee injury.

Without the contributions of Miller, the Bills were still tied for the league lead in sacks through the first four weeks with 16. Leonard Floyd currently leads the team with 3.5 sacks, while Ed Oliver and Gregory Rousseau have both added three each.
