The Baltimore Ravens will enter the 2021 season with a much different look on their offensive line than they had in 2020. One of the most significant changes that the team made is moving former left guard Bradley Bozeman back to center, where he played in college at the University of Alabama.

When Bozeman was asked a question about how he feels regarding the eyes on him over the course of OTAs and minicamp, he said that he’s going to try to stay consistent at the center position, and also pointed out that nobody is perfect.

“It all starts with the center – it all starts there. We’ve had some issues in the past, but things happen. No one is perfect. But it’s just a consistency thing. We’ve got to continue to be consistent, continue to get your hands on the ball, snapping the ball, doing the right mechanics. Making sure you’re doing your job to the best of your ability, and that’s the biggest thing right now. That’s all that I can control. I can’t control the past. I can only control the future from here on out. So, I’m just going to continue to try to stay consistent and just stay in my motor development and mechanics.”

Center was a key area of weakness at points for Baltimore in 2020. The team feels like Bozeman can step in and give them solid play both with his blocking and with his snaps, and with how well he played the position in college, it’s easy to see why. There still could be a bit of an adjustment period for Bozeman in terms of playing center at the NFL level, but if he stays consistent like he’s talking about, he could help the Ravens’ offense evolve to another level while also earning himself a lot of money in a contract year.
