The former Oklahoma and South Carolina QB will bring depth behind Derek Carr.
The New Orleans Saints have decided after drafting an offensive tackle and a cornerback to add depth to the QB room.
With the 150th pick of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Black and Gold selected Spencer Rattler, a quarterback from South Carolina.
Before arriving in Columbia, Rattler was at Oklahoma where he put up strong numbers being replaced by first overall pick Caleb Williams.
For his career, Rattler threw for 10,807 yards, 77 touchdowns and 32 interceptions. The former top prospect threw for 3,000+ yards on three different occasions and also added 410 rushing yards in his career.
He possesses great upside with his elite arm talent and ability to extend plays.
