Broncos Training Camp: Day 5 live updates

Happy Monday Broncos Country! The Denver Broncos are back for Day 5 of training camp. Here are your live updates from today’s public practice session.

After a day off on Sunday, the Denver Broncos are back at it with Day 5 of training camp. Today is huge because the first padded session is on Tuesday.

Drew Lock will be looking to further cement his position as the teams best option at quarterback after dominating on Saturday. Teddy Bridgewater, meanwhile, had an atrocious outing last they took the field, so he will need to have a big bounce back type of practice today.

At the end of the day, it may not matter who we think “won” this quarterback competition as Head Coach Vic Fangio has already said the only deciding factor will be who he thinks will give the Broncos the best chance of winning football games.

“I just have to pick the one that I believe gives us the best chance to win.”

That could mean the quarterback we all think wins this competition or it could be the quarterback Fangio intended to roll with regardless of how this competition turned out. Hopefully we’re all in agreement at the end, because that would be a messy situation if Denver’s season goes sideways.
