Broncos vs. Texans score predictions for Week 13

Here are Mile High Report’s score predictions for the Denver Broncos vs. Houston Texans game in Week 13. Can Denver make it six in a row?

Can the Denver Broncos make it six in a row and put themselves in prime position in the AFC for a late season push into the playoffs? Their odds of making it to the playoffs are three times as good if they beat the Houston Texans on Sunday than if they lose.

Confidence remains super high with our staff this week, with just one poor soul predicting a loss. Collectively, we have the Broncos beating the Texans, 27-23. This is a bit of an offensive explosion prediction for the staff, but it’ll be needed since the Texans put up some points as well.

Here is how we predicted things individually:

Texans 24, Broncos 21

Whatever it takes. That is me with this score prediction streak. This is the way of winners. In the Broncos case anyway. In my case, it has been the way of losers. – Tim Lynch

Broncos 31, Texans 27

In another “must win” game against yet another AFC playoff contender, the Broncos will continue their winning ways and extend their winning streak to six games. Sean Payton let’s Russ cook in this one as he tops 200 yards passing and throws for 3 touchdowns. The run game will be consistent and the defense will force multiple turnovers off rookie MVP candidate, C.J. Stroud. In the end, I think this will be a thrilling game that comes down to some late game heroics once again but the Broncos will move to 7-5. – Scotty Payne

Broncos 31, Texans 30

If Denver can put up 27 offensive points on the Browns, then they should be able to do more damage to what the Texans have. As long as they’re able to rush for another 125+ yards and keep CJ Stroud off the field, things should work out alright for the Broncos. I like what I’m hearing from the team in the lead up to this one. It’s been so long since we’ve had a playoff-like atmosphere in Denver and I’m looking forward to it. – Ross Allen

Broncos 24, Texans 20

After a five-game winning streak, the Broncos are now set to play three games in a row on the road. First up? The Houston Texans who are 6-5 on the season and one of Denver’s biggest competitors toward obtaining a playoff berth. In my opinion, it’s a must-win game for the Broncos that will have profound playoff implications. I’m optimistic Vance Joseph can come up with a gameplan to disrupt C.J. Stroud’s overall impact on the game. Offensively, I envision Sean Payton establishing the run while putting Russell Wilson in advantageous positions to make big plays in the red zone. It’ll be another close game, but I predict Denver earns their sixth win in a row. Let’s go! – Chris Hart

Broncos 30, Texans 28

I’m bordering on homerism with this pick, as I think the Texans are one of the most underrated teams in the NFL, and CJ Stroud is a bonafide stud. It’s been a bit since Denver has faced a QB like him, so the defense will have to keep maintain their current level of play. It will be a challenge, but it seems like the offense has found their identity, and I’m not one to leave the table while on a burner. – Nick Burch

Broncos 24, Texans 18

The Broncos run should continue against the Texans. As I mentioned to Ian on Odds and Endzones, Russell Wilson has really started to grasp what Sean Payton is trying to do on offense. He is the perfect game manager right now. Lean on the rushing attack and then let Russ make things happen when necessary has been a nice recipe for success. The defensive turnaround is one of the most impressive things I’ve seen. They should contain the Texans offense. CJ Stroud is on a bit of a heater. Still, this should be a win for the Broncos team we have been watching for the last five games. – Adam Malnati

Broncos 28, Texans 17

I’m becoming a believer in this coaching staffs ability to get players in positions to make an impact. Denver is going to see an electric game from Wilson, but I have no idea which of his many weapons will light up the scoreboard. – John Holmes

Broncos 27, Texans 17

The Broncos will solidify their playoff positioning with their sixth straight win. I would not be surprised to see some Wilson moon balls and Jerry Jeudy to have a big game for the Denver offense. As for the defense, it’ll carry the momentum of the last five games to Sunday to keep Stroud and the Texans in check. – Ian St. Clair
