Tee Higgins is the big name for the home team

The end of the 2023 NFL regular season takes place at the end of the first week of 2024. The Cleveland Browns and their fans can’t wait to find out who they will play in the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs while the Cincinnati Bengals can’t wait to get to the offseason.

The Browns have already made it clear that QB Joe Flacco wasn’t going to play in Week 18, and adjusted his contract accordingly, while also ruling out seven players.

The Bengals listed WR Tee Higgins as doubtful for this meaningless game.

While we may not know every player who will actually see the field, we now have both teams’ inactive reports:

Cleveland Inactives Plus Not Playing For Sure

  • DE Myles Garrett
  • WR Amari Cooper
  • WR Marquise Goodwin
  • QB Joe Flacco – Expected not to play
  • K Dustin Hopkins
  • CB Greg Newsome II
  • FS Juan Thornhill
  • CB Mike Ford

LB Anthony Walker also went on injured reserve this week.

Besides Flacco, the team did not announce which players won’t play today that are active.

Cincinnati Inactives

  • WR Tee Higgins
  • CB Chidobe Awuzie
  • RB Chris Evans
  • OL Trey Hill
  • OL D’Ante Smith
  • TE Irv Smith Jr.
  • DT Travis Bell

No surprise with Higgins but being without Awuzie, Smith Jr. and others will also impact the Bengals performance today.

Are there specific things or players you are most interested in watching for today with the Browns vs Bengals?
