Cleveland fans are confident despite the injury hit at quarterback.

Each week during season, Cleveland Browns fans vote in SB Nation Reacts to express their confidence level in the team or their thoughts on other topics.

After the team’s comeback win over the Ravens last week, 92% of fans are confident in the direction of the team, compared to an 80% confidence rate in the prior week. Even though the team’s quarterback situation is a big hint that we might see the effects of in the weeks to come as far as confidence goes, the win over Baltimore was still monumental for keeping the team positioned for a playoff push, especially with a relatively soft schedule to finish out the year. 41% of Steelers fans are confident in the direction of their team after slipping by the Packers last week.

We asked two other questions this week, starting with the team’s punt returner situation and whether the Browns should stick with WR James Proche back there after his critical fumble last week. Fans are giving Proche their vote of confidence, as 81% of fans want the team to stick with him.

The other question may have had mixed results, because during the voting process, the news about Deshaun Watson’s season-ending injury broke. Nonetheless, 93% of Browns fans expect Cleveland to win this week.

Cleveland was also featured in a national poll that asked who the Midseason Defensive Player of the Year is. 37% of fans voted for DE Myles Garrett, which was far ahead of a trio of other players. If Garrett can remain healthy for the full season, I think he’s on track for his first defensive MVP award.

Also on a national level, fans are picking the Browns to defeat the Steelers this Sunday.
