Offensive lineman was rolled up on during a play

As the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans lock horns in the first game of the NFL playoffs, injuries continue to be a concern for both teams.

In back-to-back possessions, offensive linemen were helped off the field. First, Texans LT Laremy Tunsil was injured during an extra point. The massive left tackle was helped off the field but seemed to mouth that he was okay on the sideline but George Fant was in to start Houston’s next drive.

On the Browns ensuing possession, LG Joel Bitonio was hurt when a defender fell backward into his right leg.

Bitonio was helped off the field by trainers and taken directly into the locker room instead of heading into the injury tent. Michael Dunn took Bitonio’s place on the drive.

Tunsil is questionable to return to the game with a knee injury.

Update:

Tunsil returned to the game in the second quarter.

Bitonio is questionable to return to the game with an ankle, not knee, injury.

Update:

The veteran left guard returned to Cleveland’s lineup on the next possession after he returned to the sideline.
