As unlikely as it sounds, would you have mortgaged the farm again for someone?

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Cleveland Browns fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

The Cleveland Browns did not have a first-round pick for the third time in as many years, thanks to the Deshaun Watson trade. That deal is now “complete,” in the sense that all picks have been accounted for from the trade — and the Browns will be back to having a first-round pick in 2025.

Nonetheless, each NFL team has a reacts question about the first round. Prior to Day 1, General manager Andrew Berry said that the odds of them being active in the first round were about the same as winning the Powerball. Still, do you agree with Berry having taken that mentality? Or, should he have come up with something alluring — such as trading next year’s first-round pick and other lucrative capital — to try to select a player in the first round this year? Let us know in the poll below.
