The over/under opens at 45.5 for the game.

The Cleveland Browns have opened as early 3 point underdogs against the Cincinnati Bengals ahead of their Week 9 divisional match-up, according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The over/under on the game is currently 45.5.

The Browns (4-4) are coming off of a 15-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The offense has only combined for 41 total points in their past three games, and they are currently in a 1-3 funk. Although the offensive punch seems like it’s right there, the execution rate has been far lower compared to the magic they had earlier this season.

The Bengals (5-3) are coming off of a stunning 34-31 loss to the New York Jets. The Bengals seemed to have the game wrapped up, but backup quarterback Mike White led two touchdown-scoring drives in the final minutes — and then a bad personal foul penalty by the officials prevented Cincinnati from having one last crack to rally.

I’m not sure who I would take in a bet on this game right now. Cleveland’s offense has not gotten it done over the past three weeks in terms of number of points, but the talent seems like it’s still there to put up 30+ points every week. Or, have we just massively over-rated what this offense is? Joe Burrow has been great, and although the Browns’ defense has tightened things up over the past two games, doesn’t feel like another Justin Herbert type of performance is coming?
