Browns schedule: Next 4 week alternates between playoff contenders and bad teams

Playoff races could be greatly impacted by finishing schedules

The Cleveland Browns schedule so far has been a difficult one but the team has been able to scratch and claw their way to a 7-3 record. At the end of Week 11, only two teams on the Browns schedule of teams played so far have losing records: Tennessee Titans and Arizona Cardinals.

Two other teams, the Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts, have .500 records.

Moving forward, it seems that Cleveland’s schedule should get easier but the NFL continues to prove that it is a week-to-week league. Starting this week, the Browns schedule alternates between two teams competing for playoff positions with two teams looking at draft positioning.

This week, the Denver Broncos are surprising at 5-5 despite not a lot of great play on the field. Then, the oft-injured Los Angeles Rams (4-6) welcome in Cleveland for their second straight road game out west.

The Browns then welcome the Jacksonville Jaguars (7-3) to the shores of Lake Erie on December 10th and then the Chicago Bears (3-8) the week after that.

While every game is important, the two games against AFC opponents play a larger role when tiebreakers come into play. That means the two better teams over the next four weeks are the more vital matchups.

With two road games out west and the talented Jaguars, Cleveland is likely to drop at least one game while a 2-2 record would keep them four games above .500 going into the Christmas and New Years holidays.
