Only a few mysteries before this week’s AFC north matchup

When the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers square off at 1 PM, the players not on the field will be as big of a story as the ones on it.

RB Nick Chubb is reportedly going to be in attendance after just having his second surgery since being hurt by Pittsburgh in Week 2. QB Deshaun Watson is out for the year while safeties Juan Thornhill, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Keanu Neal were ruled out before the game.

While listed as questionable, we have learned that Pat Friermuth and Michael Dunn were activated from injured reserve and Dawand Jones was also expected to play.

Now, 90 minutes before the start of the game between the Browns and Steelers, we get the official inactive reports:

Browns Inactives

  • S Juan Thornhill
  • WR Marquise Goodwin
  • OL Luke Wypler
  • DE Isaiah McGuire
  • DT Siaki Ika

Jones is active as expected with the usual rookies on the sidelines once again today.

Steelers Inactives

  • S Minkah Fitzpatrick
  • DT Montravius Adams
  • CB Darius Rush
  • QB Mason Rudolph (3rd QB)
  • RB Godwin Igwebuike
  • OL Dylan Cook

Neal was placed on injured reserve Saturday. Friermuth is officially active as well.
