The Bucs will elevate veteran wide receiver David Moore from the practice squad for Sunday’s game at Indianapolis against the 5-5 Colts. The move was first reported by JC Allen on X.

The Bucs placed rookie wide receiver Rakim Jarrett on injured reserve after he injured his quadriceps in the team’s 27-14 loss at San Francisco last Sunday. Jarrett hauled in a career-high 41-yard pass against the 49ers and has four catches for 60 yards during his rookie season, in addition to one carry for zero yards.

David Moore, a five-year veteran, spent his first three years in the NFL in Seattle where he played in the same offense that Bucs offensive coordinator Dave Canales brought to Tampa Bay this year. The 28-year-old Moore entered the league in 2017 as a seventh-round draft pick by the Seahawks.

After spending a majority of his first year on the practice squad, he had a breakout year in 2018 with 26 receptions for 445 yards and five scores. Over his four years in Seattle, he hauled in 78 passes for 1,163 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Moore was also utilized out of the backfield with 12 rush attempts for 91 yards and as a punt returner with 25 run backs for 219 yards. Moore signed a one-year deal with the Bears last season, but a leg injury he suffered during training camp ended his season.
