Buffalo Bills CB Taron Johnson named 2023 second-team All-Pro by Associated Press

Eleven Bills received votes, but only Johnson finished with enough votes to be chosen either first- or second-team All-Pro

Buffalo Bills nickel cornerback Taron Johnson was named second-team All-Pro by the Associated Press, which utilizes a 50-member panel to select players at the end of each regular season. This is Johnson’s first such honor of his six-year NFL career.

Johnson (15 first-team/7 second-team) finished second in voting behind Trent McDuffie (16/12) of the Kansas City Chiefs.

During the 2023 NFL season, Johnson made a career-high 98 tackles (72 solo), plus three tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, one sack, eight pass defenses, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.

In total, 11 Buffalo Bills players received votes, but no one other than Taron Johnson received enough to be selected either first- or second-team All-Pro.

Last season, safety Jordan Poyer was named first-team All-Pro, the first of his career.
