It’s now a groin injury for the nose tackle.

The Buffalo Bills emerged from their 35-0 beatdown of the Miami Dolphins without many new injuries of note. Although starters like Tremaine Edmunds and Levi Wallace left the game with heat-related injuries, they were held out of the game for convenience, thanks to the scoring margin. One player to note, though, is nose tackle Star Lotulelei. After he missed the first game of the season with a calf injury, he appeared on Wednesday’s practice report with a groin injury that held him out. If the veteran isn’t back to practicing by Thursday, it could be a sign that he’ll miss his second game in three weeks.

Wideout Gabriel Davis (ankle) was still limited in practice on Wednesday, a continuation from last week. Davis did play against the Dolphins, appearing on 32% of the team’s snaps, but any extra responsibilities will probably wait until he’s healthier.

Micah Hyde (neck) also appeared on the injury list as limited in practice, a continuation from last week when he was added to the injury report on Thursday. Hyde was reportedly wearing a red no-contact jersey in practice Wednesday, but even with his neck injury, he still played well against the Dolphins.

Cornerback Dane Jackson (knee) is a new addition to the report, marked as limited. We’ll see if his condition improves for the weekend, but that could be one explanation for why the Bills recently worked out Quinton Dunbar.

Rounding out the injury list, Jerry Hughes and Cole Beasley had veteran rest days. Tremaine Edmunds was listed with heat exhaustion (likely a follow-up from Sunday) and a full participant. Efe Obada (calf), who missed the last game, practiced fully. So did Levi Wallace (knee). For now, they all seem good to go against Washington.
