The Buffalo Bills are expected to activate running back Zack Moss for the first time this season on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Also expected to be active is receiver Gabriel Davis.

Davis was listed as questionable on Friday after dealing with an ankle injury all week. He did not practice on Wednesday and was limited on Thursday and Friday. The news is welcome for the Bills, who used Davis on more than 50% of their snaps last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers while running four-wide and five-wide sets. He had two receptions for 40 yards including the only touchdown scored by the Bills all day and the longest play from scrimmage in the game.

Moss was listed as inactive in Week 1 in a numbers game. The team went with the speed of Matt Breida instead of activating Moss, who brings a similar skill set to the table as his running mate, Devin Singletary. They could have used Moss’s help in the pass blocking game.

Schefter didn’t mention defensive end Efe Obada nor defensive tackle Star Lotulelei, who were both listed as questionable. Obada popped up as limited on Friday’s injury report with a calf injury. Lotulelei missed Week 1 and was limited on Wednesday and Thursday before practicing fully on Friday.
