A tough blow for the Bengals secondary.
The Cincinnati Bengals will not have Cam Taylor-Britt this week vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Unfortunately, it’s not the quad injury that kept him out of the Week 12 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
On Friday, Taylor-Britt suffered an ankle injury in practice, according to head coach Zac Taylor, who added that the veteran cornerback won’t play Monday due to said injury.
Thankfully, linebacker Logan Wilson and wideout Tee Higgins will play this week.
Zac Taylor says Cam Taylor-Britt sprained his ankle in practice and now won’t play on MNF. Was trending to potentially play coming back from quad before that.

The fact that he suffered the injury Friday and has already been ruled out doesn’t exactly bode well for his chances of playing in Week 14 at home vs. the Indianapolis Colts.
Taylor-Britt, now in his second season, has been enjoying a breakout year that’s seen him become one of Cincinnati’s best defenders. In 10 games, he’s racked up 46 tackles, four interceptions, and 10 pass deflections.
With CTB down, the Bengals will keep relying heavily on rookie DJ Turner to pick up the slack with Chidobe Awuzie across from him on the boundary, while Mike Hilton will keep manning the slot.
