Candlestick Chronicles: Matt Maiocco talks Trey Lance, 49ers training camp

The 49ers’ long offseason will come to an end the final week of July when they finally open training camp. Chris Biderman and Kyle Madson on Candlestick Chronicles got their training camp preparations underway with a visit from NBC Sports Bay Area’s Matt Maiocco.

Matt and the guys chat about Trey Lance and what Matt learned about the rookie during his visit to Fargo, N. Dakota.  They also chat about expectations for Lance in his first season and how the 49ers can acclimate the rookie to the NFL game. The guys wrap the show with a look at some other 49ers’ rookies and what the ceiling is for their new-look pass rush.
