Robby Anderson sees a new ‘glow’ in Sam Darnold

Robby Anderson has noticed something different about Sam Darnold now that he’s a Panther.
“When I walked in the building I could see a new energy out of him, like a glow, charisma that I didn’t really see in New York,” Anderson said, according to ESPN’s David Newton. “I can definitely see the difference in him so far.”
Anderson signed with the Panthers two offseasons ago after four years wit the Jets. The Jets traded Darnold to the Panthers for three draft picks this offseason.
Now reunited in Carolina, Anderson sounds excited to play with his former quarterback again. He and Darnold connected a lot during their two seasons together in New York. Darnold targeted Anderson often and the receiver finished with 102 receptions for 1,431 yards and 11 touchdowns from 2018-2019.
