Well, this should be interesting.

Earlier in the week, the NFL teased a Hard Knocks announcement slated for half time of the Thursday Night Football game between the New York Giants and Washington Football Team. We’ve since learned that it was to announce the first in-season version of the show, slated to premiere Nov. 17 and it will feature Carson Wentz and the Indianapolis Colts.

The HBO series will follow Wentz’s attempted career resurgence in Indianapolis as he reunites with head coach (and former Eagles OC) Frank Reich. And while there will definitely be other interesting storylines from the team, there’s already been a plethora of interesting from the quarterback through the offseason and training camp: Wentz was traded, had to undergo surgery for a lingering foot injury, rehabbed back and ended up on the COVID-19 list after refusing to get vaccinated, yet still managed to take the field in Week 1 only to lose to the Seahawks.

New episodes of Hard Knocks In Season: The Indianapolis Colts will air on HBO and stream on HBO Max, premiering each Wednesday beginning mid-November through the end of the regular season. Should the Colts end up in the post-season, there’s a chance the series also extends into those extra weeks.
