After a Divisional Weekend where both top seeds were knocked out, it should be no surprise that our picks contest no longer has a perfect entrant. Adam is still atop the leaderboard, however.

The scores, out of a possible 30 (last week’s in parenthesis):

Adam 24 (6)
Taylor 21 (6)
Aidan 20 (6)
Kevin 20 (6)
Drew 17 (6)
Ron 17 (6)
Darrin 17 (8)
Rob 16 (5)
Chad 16 (8)
Dev 16 (5)
DA 15 (5)
TL 13 (0)
Nikhil 11 (3)

Our fearless Editor-in-Chief took the dreaded skunk last weekend. If you’re headed down to Horseshoe Casino to place some bets, you may want to invite Adam or Taylor, not TL, Nikhil, or Derek. If you’re sitting at home and betting online, be sure to check out DraftKings Sportsbook, where the special this weekend if $280 in free bets if you win a $5 moneyline bet. If you prefer FanDuel Sportbook, you can get 30-to-1 odds on any playoff game by clicking here.

This weekend’s Championship matchups include a couple preseason favorites hosting some plucky upstarts.

AFC

Cincinnati Bengals (+7) @ Kansas City Chiefs

Sunday, 3:00 PM

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, fresh off a win in perhaps the greatest playoff game of all-time, find themselves in their fourth straight AFC Championship game. They’ve won the previous two, going on to split two Super Bowls. Joe Burrow’s Bengals, at the polar opposite of the spectrum, appear in the Championship Game for the first time since the 1988 season.

While most of the country will be pulling for the underdogs, were here in #RavensFlock will have a hard time not gritting our teeth and just rooting for the Chiefs. This isn’t college football. We don’t root for our division.

NFC

San Francisco 49ers (+3.5) @ Los Angeles Rams

Sunday, 6:30 PM

On the other side, the San Francisco 49ers pulled off an improbable win in Green Bay thanks to the Packers’ atrocious special teams unit (and Deebo Samuel). They’ve beaten the Rams SIX straight times, so though they’re the underdogs on paper, they should have the psychological advantage headed into this one. The Rams won a nail-biter of their own, dethroning the defending champion Bucs and Her Majesty, and look to get back to the Big One for the second time in four years.

Our Picks:

We are doubling the scores this week, with two points for a correct winner and four for a winner against the spread (spread picks in bold).

Good luck to everyone betting, and enjoy the games!
