There’s something special about Brandon Staley, man.

As a former player, I feel a massive amount of nostalgia when I listen to him speak. It’s the same feelings I got when I was still playing in high school and college whenever I was listening to one of my favorite coaches. There’s a notable rhythm and tempo to his speeches and a certain infectious energy that clings to his listeners. It makes it so hard not to come away from one of his press conferences with the simple exclamation of, “Wow, that was cool.”

The video of Staley mic’d up that the Chargers recently posted was amazing. Over six minutes of him coaching and interacting with his players? It was a like virtual gold. That’s a fairly long video and I still could have used a video that was three times that length.

Now, to kick off a new week, I want to hear where all of your confidence levels are at when it comes to Brandon Staley and his future with the Bolts. As things stand heading into training camp next month, how confident are you in Staley and his staff, as well as the overall future of this team? Let me know all of your thoughts below.
