Prior to Saturday’s preseason contest against the Rams, Tristan Vizcaino went a perfect five-for-five in the prior practice. That was one of the first times a kicker had been spotless in a practice and he made it better by going two-for-two in their first piece of action.
On Tuesday, Vizcaino once again went five-for-five. Badgley, who did not receive a field goal attempt this past Saturday, looked better than usual and missed just one of his five kicks on the day.

As far as I’ve seen, Badgley has yet to finish a day of practice without a blemish. If I am wrong, someone feel free to let me know, but it certainly seems that way.
There are still two more game opportunities left for Badgley to show the team he’s still their guy but will it be enough at this point? Vizcaino received all the first looks against the Rams and continues to be the more accurate kicker in practices. Barring a huge meltdown from him, I think he’ll end up being the guy this year.
Thoughts? Anyone disagree? Let me know!
