The Chargers placed linebacker Tanner Muse on injured reserve. In correspondence, they signed LB Blake Lynch to the active roster.

Additionally, Los Angeles signed edge defender Ty Shelby to the practice squad.

Muse sustained a knee injury in the Week 11 game against the Packers. Signed before the start of the regular season, Muse appeared in ten games and played 79% of special teams snaps.

Lynch was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Baylor by the Vikings in 2020. He spent two seasons with Minnesota before spending the 2022 season with the Cardinals. Lynch signed with the Chargers in July.

In two seasons, Lynch posted 47 tackles, three passes defended, a tackle for loss and an interception.
