Chargers sign OL Austen Pleasants to practice squad

The Chargers have signed offensive lineman Austen Pleasants to the practice.

To make room, they released fullback Zander Horvath.

Pleasants, an undrafted free agent out of Ohio, signed with the Jaguars in 2020. He spent the 2021 season on and off with the Panthers’ practice squad.

Pleasants signed with Los Angeles last season in November. After this preseason, he didn’t make the cut and went on to spend time on the Bears and Cardinals’ practice squads.

Pleasants has logged just one game with Carolina.
