Bow Wow is livid that his Falcons didn’t draft Bears QB Justin Fields

Bears fans have spent the last few years wondering how GM Ryan Pace could’ve passed on the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson for Mitchell Trubisky. Now, it appears, the tables have turned as Bears fans are suddenly the envy of some fan bases following the selection of quarterback Justin Fields.

While Fields hasn’t proven anything yet, there’s a sweet satisfaction in having other fan bases lusting after Fields, who miraculously dropped to the 11th overall pick. Especially for Bears fans who’ve heard nothing but joke after joke about how Chicago went with Trubisky over two future star quarterbacks.

Even celebrities are making their feelings known, as rapper Bow Wow sounded off on Twitter about his Falcons passing on Fields with the third overall pick.

Dont get me started on the falcons! Yes im ranting! We blew the superbowl! Then we dont draft justin fields. HOW DO YOU NOT DRAFT JUSTIN FIELDS!!! You think we want to see matt ryan stink up the dome AGAIN???? Im over it!

Bears fans will know the frustration well, except the team never had a quarterback even close to Matt Ryan over the last few decades. But seeing fans of the Falcons, Broncos, Lions and Panthers wishing their team had drafted Fields is enough to make you smile, because the Bears finally appear to be on the right side of a quarterback draft pick.

Again, we don’t know how Fields’ career will unfold in Chicago. But right now, there’s been a great deal of hope and optimism that hasn’t been felt in this fan base for the longest time, which stems from Fields’ amazing potential and skillset.

For a franchise cursed with poor quarterback play for a good portion of its 101-year existence, the thought that Fields could finally rewrite the quarterback narrative in Chicago has made it an exciting time to be a Bears fan.
