Suddenly the Chicago Bears are must-see TV!
Earlier today the NFL announced that the NFL Network will carry their largest slate of live preseason games ever with 23. The NFL Network will feature a quadruple-header for week 1 and week 2, and two triple-headers for week 3’s action. And included in each week will will be a live airing of the Chicago Bears game.
Here’s a reminder on the Bears schedule.
Saturday, August 14, Noon (CT) vs the Miami Dolphins
Saturday, August 21, Noon (CT) vs the Buffalo Bills
Saturday, August 28, 6:00 p.m. (CT) at the Tennessee Titans
I would imagine the allure of possibly seeing rookie quarterback Justin Fields slinging the ball around in these three games was something the league wanted to capitalize on.
The Bears will kickoff the NFLN’s quadruple-header coverage on August 14 and 21, and on August 28 they are the middle game sandwiched between the Buffalo Bills hosting the Green Bay Packers and the Los Angeles Chargers visiting the Seattle Seahawks.
Besides all the Bears game airing live on the NFL Network, they usually have a replay of each contest at some point after it airs. Also, for those that don’t get the NFLN be sure to check local listings as the games will each be available locally.
