Bears 2021 training camp roster preview: Inside linebackers

Chicago Bears training camp is less than a month away, which means it’s time to start looking ahead at the roster the team is bringing to Lake Forest.

We’ve covered the entire offense, looking at quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, offensive line and defensive line. Now it’s time to turn our attention to the linebackers, starting with the inside.

This position group is headlined by Roquan Smith and Danny Trevathan, who return for their fourth straight season paired together. While there’s no question about who will be starting at inside linebacker, there will be some competition between the likes of Christian Jones, Joel Iyiegbuniwe and Josh Woods.
