Some notes
- Two Chiefs were limited on Wednesday — offensive lineman Austin Blythe (abdomen) and defensive tackle Khalen Saunders (glute). Blythe wasn’t a surprise, as he is finishing up recovery from his sports hernia surgery. Saunders was a bit of a surprise, and he is someone to monitor as the Chiefs go this week. Saunders played 11 defensive snaps against the Browns.
- Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu missed Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns after being activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Saturday. This was Chiefs head coach Andy Reid’s decision, he revealed after the game. Since Mathieu is not on the report, he is currently a full-go for Sunday.
- Defensive end Frank Clark (hamstring), who also was held out of the team’s game against the Browns, was a full participant Wednesday, a great sign for his outlook on Sunday Night Football.
