Falcons 2024 NFL draft class: Contract numbers for each rookie

The Atlanta Falcons 2024 NFL draft class is officially set it’s clear that the front office put a strong emphasis on the defensive side of the ball. Five of the team’s eight selections were on defense, including four defensive linemen. Michael Penix was drafted for the future but the Falcons tried to add players who could help this season with their other picks.

When it comes to rookie contracts, each player’s projected salary is based on when they were drafted, as opposed to the position they play. This fixed model wage scale was implemented in 2011 to prevent rookies from getting a ton of guaranteed money.
