The Cowboys get a big piece of their offense back on the field.

The Dallas Cowboys cancelled their Tuesday practice, but they will have a “mock game” situation. There is now only one practice left in Oxnard before the team returns to DFW.

Before the flight home happens, the Cowboys will also play in their final road preseason game of the year on Friday night against the Arizona Cardinals. This has been a point that fans have been anxious to get to as Jerry Jones previously said that it would likely be after Week 1 of the preseason (as far as the NFL calendar is concerned) that Amari Cooper and DeMarcus Lawrence would be activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list.

The latter was activated last week which was obviously a bit of good news. Things continue to roll in that direction as it was announced on Tuesday that Amari Cooper has also passed his physical and has therefore been removed from the PUP list.

It is extremely unlikely that we will see anything from Cooper on Friday night if we see him at all, but still, this is a very positive step in the right direction. Ideally, Dak Prescott will return from his muscle strain situation once the team returns to home base and the offense will be whole once again.

The Cowboys still have three players on the PUP list in Trysten Hill, Greg Zuerlein, and Chauncey Golston. We will see how things materialize with them.
