Darrelle Revis reminds everyone how good he was against Calvin Johnson

Calvin Johnson tore apart opposing defenses during his time with the Lions, but the Jets were one of the few teams he didn’t light up.

In fact, the Jets were the only team that Johnson never tallied more than 14 receiving yards against – thanks to Darrelle Revis. The legendary Jets cornerback held the Hall of Fame receiver to a mere 13 receiving yards during their lone matchup in 2010, and Revis made sure everyone remembered in a recent post on his Instagram story.

Johnson only caught one of his four targets on the day against Revis, and his targets, receptions and yards were all season-lows for Johnson in 2010.

Johnson is just one of the many receivers Revis stymied during his time in the league. Revis blanketed wideouts like Randy Moss, Terrell Owens and Andre Johnson during a legendary 2009 season. He remains one of the greatest Jets of all time.

Revis finished his Jets career with 25 interceptions, 112 defended passes, 10 forced fumbles and 388 combined tackles. He also made four Pro Bowls and earned three All-Pro selections during his eight years in New York.
