The Detroit Lions traded up for a second time in the 4th round and selected one of the most unique prospects in the NFL Draft.

The Detroit Lions traded into the fourth round for a second time on Saturday and used the pick to select Utah safety/running back Sione Vaki with the 132nd overall pick

The Lions had a lot of reported interest in Vaki, who is one of the most interesting prospects in the NFL. Detroit had a formal visit with him at the NFL Combine and also brought him in for a top-30 visit.

Vaki played mostly safety in college, but he also filled in at running back for the Utes, rushing for 317 yards and five touchdowns on 42 carries last season.

Vaki was also a leader and team captain for Utah, and named First Team All-Pac-12 last year.
