It could be another rainy day in Allen Park.

For the first time this training camp, the Detroit Lions will have to deal with a quick turnaround. On Monday, they had their first afternoon practice—albeit one in just shells (not fully-padded). Now, they will have to deal with not even a full day’s rest to go out there on the practice field for another intense day. The first preseason game is just three days away, but head coach Dan Campbell admitted they aren’t preparing like a normal game week yet. There will be very little game-planning.

“This is just, ‘Line up and play,’” Campbell explained on Monday afternoon.

So expect a normal-looking practice on Tuesday.

We’ll be on hand to give you any and all updates from Allen Park. Hopefully, we’ll get an update from Campbell on running back Jermar Jefferson, who limped off the practice field on Monday. We’ll also be providing live updates during practice, which is currently scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. ET.

So follow us @PrideOfDetroit on Twitter or myself @DetroitOnLion for the latest Lions news.

Note: As it did on Monday, it appears the weather may call for rain. If the Lions move practice inside, we will no longer be able to live tweet the event (like Monday’s practice). However, we will provide updates as soon as practice concludes.
