The Carolina Panthers were clearly missing the downfield element of their passing game in this past Sunday’s season-opening loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Quarterback Bryce Young averaged a paltry 3.8 yards per attempt and the team’s leading receiver at the wideout position, Terrace Marshall Jr., finished with just 23 yards.

But, luckily for the offense, they may be getting a piece to that puzzle back for Monday’s showdown with the New Orleans Saints.

Former Pro Bowler DJ Chark was listed as a limited participant in today’s practice. The 26-year-old, who also participated in yesterday’s outing, missed the Week 1 matchup in Atlanta due to a hamstring injury.

Chark, additionally, told Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer before today’s practice that he feels confident about his status for Week 2:

Here is the team’s initial injury report for the week:

Injury Thursday Friday Saturday Game status
CB Jaycee Horn Hamstring DNP
WR DJ Chark Hamstring Limited
OT Taylor Moton Biceps Limited
