Cecil Lammey laid out how he thinks the Rodgers situation will play out, and he thinks the QB will end up in Denver.

Happy Fourth of July, Broncos Country!

There is no doubt that Denver Broncos fans are on Aaron Rodgers overload.

Similar to “Anchorman” with panda watch, some in Broncos Country, and the media, are on Rodgers Watch. And a lot of the news is recycled at this point. And until the Green Bay Packers pick up the phone, any and all discussions are moot.

But Cecil Lammey had a piece this week that is very interesting, and it talked about the Rodgers situation. According to the Broncos insider for 104.3 FM:

“This is a situation that is going to take more patience. I still believe that Rodgers will be traded, and I think the Broncos are his most likely destination. However, the earliest I think something could be done is the middle of August.”

The full post is worth the read.

Adam Malnati and I talked about Cecil’s story on the MHR Radio Podcast. For those who don’t think (or want) a Rodgers trade will happen, Adam was his typical pessimistic self. I was more in tune with Cecil. But until the Packers open the market, none of this matters.

But as Cecil said in his piece, the dream of him playing for the Broncos is not dead.

Broncos Blast

Each Saturday, I do a segment on Denver radio station ESPN 1600 AM. This week, I talked about my favorite moment as a fan of the Broncos. We also delved into the ownership situation.
