Eagles vs. 49ers Final Injury Report: Rodney McLeod out, Landon Dickerson to debut

It’s unclear how close he is to returning. Maybe he’ll be able to suit up in Week 3? The Eagles will have an extra day to work with since they’re playing on Monday Night Football in Dallas. </p> <p id="sM0tgm">In the meantime, Marcus Epps might start in place of McLeod again. Epps suffered a concussion early in the Eagles’ Week 1 game and is officially questionable to play. If not Epps, it’ll be K’Von Wallace playing on the back end. The Eagles could also look to elevate Elijah Riley, who received a practice squad protection this week, to the game day roster for more safety depth. </p> <p id="S0dXcb"><strong>One player was ruled QUESTIONABLE: The aforementioned Marcus Epps.</strong></p> <p id="bYucFs">Epps fully participated in Friday’s practice after being limited on Thursday. Seems like he’s on track to clear the concussion protocol in advance of Sunday’s game. </p> <p id="CUKtYz"><strong>Every other Eagles player on the 53-man roster was listed without a game status.</strong></p> <p id="8jq4Hx">Zach Ertz was a full participant on Friday so he’s set to play.</p> <p id="TBRpnd">Brandon Brooks will play despite sitting out on Wednesday and being limited on Thursday and Friday.</p> <p id="kosbbU">Avonte Maddox was limited on Thursday due to a groin injury but was full go on Friday.</p> <p id="6awnwn">Landon Dickerson is set to make his NFL debut after fully participating in practice all week. Nick Sirianni wasn’t interested in divulging exactly how the Eagles might use him. We know Dickerson won’t be replacing one of the Eagles’ five starting offensive linemen but perhaps the 2021 second-round pick could see some occasional snaps as an extra blocker.</p> <p id="d7UgJp">J.J. Another hit for San Fran’s defense.</p> <p id="BIsU4u">But it doesn’t stop there. Emmanuel Moseley would be starting if he was healthy but it appears he won’t play since he’s been ruled doubtful.</p> <p id="MezTVk">On the positive side from a 49ers perspective, there’s optimism that starting defensive linemen Arik Armstead and Javon Kinlaw will play. But it appears they’ll be at least than 100%.
